Summary terms — the full agreement is being finalised and will replace this page. By creating an account you agree to the following:
1. Licence. SearchOS is licensed per desk (one named user per paid seat). Sharing one seat between multiple people is a breach of these terms; additional users require additional seats.
2. Term. Paid subscriptions run for a minimum 12-month term from the date of purchase, billed monthly. Seats added during the term are pro-rated for the current month and then join the existing billing cycle, each with their own 12-month term from their start date.
3. Trials. Free trials last 14 days with reduced usage allowances and carry no payment obligation. At expiry, AI features pause until a paid plan is chosen.
4. Fair use. AI actions, data credits and transcription minutes are subject to the allowances of your plan. Allowances reset monthly and do not roll over.
5. Your data. Your candidate, client and business data belongs to you. You can export it at any time; on termination we delete it after 30 days unless you ask sooner. We never sell or share your data.
6. Third-party services. Connected services (email, LinkedIn, data providers) are governed by their own terms; you are responsible for your compliance with them.
7. Acceptable use. No spam, no unlawful data processing, no attempts to circumvent seat licensing or usage allowances.
